Here’s how to connect (almost) any device to wi-fi!

Did you get a new tablet, phone, or computer as a gift? Do you have a device that needs to get on your wi-fi network, but you’re not sure how to do it? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Here’s how to connect (almost) any device to your wi-fi network!

iOS (iPhones and iPads)

  1. From your Home screen, go to the Settings app 
  2. Tap on wi-fi
  3. Make sure your wi-fi option is turned on. Your device will automatically search for available wi-fi networks
  4. Tap the name of the Wi-Fi network that you want to join
  5. Input your wi-fi password and tap join
  6. Connect to the internet!

Android (Google phones, Samsung phones, Motorola phones)

  1. From your Home screen, go to the Settings app
  2. Tap Network & internet and then Wi-Fi
  3. Make sure your wi-fi option is turned on. Your device will automatically search for available wi-fi networks
  4. Tap the name of the wi-fi network that you want to join
  5. Input your wi-fi password and tap join
  6. Connect to the internet!

Mac (Macbook, Macbook Air, New Macbook)

  1. Click wi-fi icon in the menu bar (bar at the top of your screen)
  2. Make sure your wi-fi option is turned on
  3. Click the name of the wi-fi network that you want to join
  4. Enter the password, then click Join
  5. Connect to the internet!

Windows (HP, Microsoft Surface, Dell, Lenovo)

  1. Click wi-fi icon in the menu bar (at the bottom right of your screen, by the clock)
  2. Make sure your wi-fi option is turned on. Your device will automatically search for available wi-fi networks
  3. Click the name of the wi-fi network that you want to join
  4. Enter the password, then click Join
  5. Connect to the internet!

Playstation 4, Playstation 4 Slim, and Playstation 4 Pro

  1. Press up on your controller and scroll to the right. Press X on the Settings icon
  2. Scroll down to Network, press X
  3. Select Set Up Internet Connection
  4. Select Use wi-fi, then select Easy
  5. Select the name of the wi-fi network that you want to join
  6. Enter the password, then select Join
  7. Connect to the internet!

Xbox One and Xbox One X

  1. Press the Xbox button on your controller and select Settings
  2. Scroll down to All Settings
  3. Select Network
  4. Select Network settings
  5. Select Set up wireless network
  6. Select the name of the wi-fi network that you want to join
  7. Enter the password, then select Join
  8. Connect to the internet!

Nintendo Switch

  1. On the home screen, select System Settings
  2. Scroll down to Internet, the names of available wi-fi networks will appear on the right hand side
  3. Select the name of the wi-fi network that you want to join
  4. Enter the password, then select Join
  5. Connect to the internet!
